  2. Denominator A denominator is the number that is on bottom of the line. It shows how many peaces there are.

  3. Numerator The numerator is the number on top of the line. It shows how many peaces we have out of all those pieces together.

  4. Fraction A fraction is the numerator and denominator together. How many peaces are we dividing the whole into and how many peaces do we have.
