How do we make recycling fun? • We can make recycling fun by at school if someone brings in at lest 5 things that can be recycled you can get a raffle ticket. • So for each class room you could say if each person brings in 10 items that can be recycled then that class room can have a pizza party for homeroom with donuts and /or free ice cream pass.So they will want to do it. • Or we can have a field trip to take 1 day off of school and go pick up trash with a choice of bringing our parents.

  5. HOW DO WE GET PEOPLE OUTSIDE OF SCHOOL TO RECYCLE? • The way we can get people outside of school to help keep our Earth clean is by having a big get together at the Mall and having everybody participate in helping clean up our community. If they decide to they will get a free meal and a certificate to get one free outfit (not including hair, belt, or hats) and 50% off shoes.

  6. FACTS ABOUT RECYCLING • Did you Know that the average American uses 650 pounds of paper each year- 100 million tons of wood could be saved each year if all that paper was recycled? • Americans use 2.5 million plastic bottles every hour. • About 80% of what Americans throw away is recyclable, yet our recycling rate is only 28%. • You can all this information and a lot more on this slide only at (www.dosomething.org)

  7. WHAT ARE YOU GOING TO DO NOW? • What are you going to do now? Are you going to fight global warming or are you not going to help our earth? Make a change.
