  2. Login • ESS Website address: • http://www.broward.k12.fl.us/hrms/ess.htm • Click on the blue “Login to ESS” button • Available Hours • Available Monday through Friday / 24 hours a day • Available Saturday until 3:30 PM • Available Sunday after 6:00 PM

  3. ESS – PASSWORD RESETS • Users can reset their own passwords by clicking on the “Trouble Logging In” button on the ESS Login Page • A security question is asked and the user must provide the matching response EXACTLY THE SAME WAY as when the response was created • If users plan to complete their ESS Payroll Option Selection from home, be sure that they review the Technical Standards and compare them to their home PC • If users are unable to reset their passwords on their own, they may call the SAP Support Center at (754) 321-3080

ESS – PC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS • MS Windows • 95/98/NT • Microsoft IE version 5.0, 5.5, 6.0 • Netscape Navigator 4.76, 4.77, or 4.78 • 2000/XP • Microsoft IE version 6.0, Netscape 4.x • Java Plugin for 2000/XP • ALL SYSTEMS • Browser Encryption: 128-bit with cookies enabled • Resolution: 1024 x 768 • RAM: 128MB or higher

ESS – MAC SYSTEM REQUIREMENTS • APPLE / MAC • OS 9.x and below • Netscape Navigator 4.76, 4.77 or 4.78 • OS X.x - Netscape Navigator 7.0 • OS X (10.3.x) - Netscape Navigator 7.1, Safari 1.2.x • ALL SYSTEMS • Browser Encryption: 128-bit, with cookies enabled • Resolution: 1024 x 768 • RAM: 128MB or higher ESS does NOT work on a Mac with IE

  10. ESS – Payroll Option EMPLOYEE AGREEMENT • Be sure to scroll to the bottom of this page for the Accept/Decline buttons.

  11. ESS – Payroll Option EMPLOYEE AGREEMENT Employees on a calendar less-than 241 days who do not make a selection will be defaulted into their Contract Calendar Option.

  12. ESS – PAYROLL OPTION SELECTION • Users will need to select either the Contract Calendar Option or the 12-Month Option. • The number of checks in the Calendar Option is dependent upon the employee’s work calendar.

  13. ESS – Payroll Option SELECTION PROMPTS • Depending upon which button is pressed, the following pop-up windows will appear: • The user will now need to press the OK button.

  14. ESS – PAYROLL OPTION SELECTION • The screen will not change after the selection has been made. • Click the MENU button to return to the Payroll Options menu.

  15. ESS – PAYROLL OPTION MENU • To view the CONFIRMATION page, click the Payroll Option Confirmation button.
