  3. Austere: strict in manner attitude or appearance.These are the blue angels and they are strict in appearance. And they are serious. Anna Marie

  4. Banal: lacking in originality or boringThis is my schedule for first semester. It's boring like any other and everyone's schedule is the same, by all having 8 classes and study halls. Anna Marie

  5. Capitulate: cease, to resist, or to surrenderMy dog surrendered when he realized he was on a leash and he gave up on his pillow in his fight to get free. Anna Marie

  6. Cosmopolitan: familiar and at ease in many different countries and culturesThe sky is all over, anyone anywhere can see it. For some people it also makes them feel at ease and everyone is familiar with it. Anna Marie

  7. Dearth: lack of somethingThis driver (I don't know who) was lacking the skill of knowing how to park properly. Anna Marie

  8. Dour: stern or gloomy in manner or appearanceThis is one of the walkways in my moms store once the lights where turned off. It looks scary and gloomy. Anna Marie

  9. Errant: straying from the proper coarse or standards This is not normal standards because eyes usually are not that color. This color of eyes is straying from the usual. Anna Marie

  10. Fecund: bearing fruit or flowersThis picture has many different flowers in a great amount. The different plants bared a lot of flowers. Anna Marie

  11. Harrowing: draw a harrow over This picture is of a car crash. It is looming, and even though you don't see the crash you know something bad has happened. Anna Marie

  12. Insular: Detached; isolated She is insular from the rest of the world and there is no way out. Mackenzie

  13. Loquacious: tending to talk much; talkative The girls are conversing when they should be doing their work. Mackenzie

  14. Montage: Combinations of disparate elements that forms a unified whole The elements of soccer are all brought together and combined wit a focus point in this case is the bag. Mackenzie

  15. Noxious: Harmful to physical health or well-being The fumes in the Lysol will cause problems to a person’s health. Mackenzie

  16. Nuptial: Pertaining to marriage or the marriage ceremony. The couple exchanged their nuptial vows. Mackenzie

  17. Penury: scarcity; insufficiency; inadequacy There was a penury amount of grapes. Mackenzie

  18. Respite: to relieve temporarily, especially from anything distressing. Moving the test to Monday instead of the day of the test delayed the stress of taking the test on the assigned date. Mackenzie

  19. Sophomoric: Resembling the traditional sophomore; intellectually pretentious, overconfident, conceited, but immature. This sophomore is ready for her junior year, but I think she might be a little bit immature. Mackenzie

  20. Tremulous: Trembling from fear, weakness, or nervousness. (of the body/ persons) When I was about to climb this mountain I was nervous because of how high it was. Mackenzie

  21. Unfathomable: Not able to be understood completely. I don’t understand how this wreath got up on my window. It is unfathomable to me. Mackenzie
