  4. NECESSITY • Better access to Stones mines of the area to rest of State. • Better roads for transportation of materials to & from Cement plants i.e. J.K.Cement-Nimbahera, Birla Cement, Vikram Cement, etc. established in the region providing better opportunity for their expansion. • Comfortable present connectivity between Mangalwar and Nimbahera via Nikumbh which is the shortest route to connect Kandla Port to Central India (M.P.) like Indore and Ratlam, Bhopal etc. • Road, if improved shall form life line of Badi Sadri & Nimbahera Assembly Constituency which is spread from Mangalwar to Nimbahera. • Improved Business activities shall further the cause of economic and social advancement of the area. • Shall provide a link from NH 79 to NH 76.

  5. NECESSITY • Mangalwar & Nimbahera are the Busy towns and they need faster & effective connectivity by Road. • Commercial traffic is available due to Cement Production & other Industrial activities • Number of Sharp Horizontal & Vertical Curves has be redesigned as per Guidelines of IRC. • Widening & Strengthening of Carriageway from 1.5 Lane to 2 Lane with Hard Shoulder is required. • This road is existing Toll Road and the concession period is ending by March 2012. The Concessionaire is RSRDCC.

  6. Project Proposal • 2 Lane Carriageway with Hard Shoulder is Proposed. • Chikdra & Minana Bye Pass is proposed of approx. 4.25 km. • Widening of Culverts to 12.0m ROW. • All Horizontal & Vertical Curves shall be designed as per designated speed with all the requirements of Highway Design and make them correct. • Paved Shoulder after 14 years.

  30. RECOMMENDATION • Annuity Model with Toll Collection shall be adopted. • Toll Shall not be charged by Car & Public Transport. Only Commercial Vehicles like LCV’s , Trucks shall be charged. • Initially 2 Lane road without paved shoulder. • 2 Lane with Paved Shoulder shall be after 14 Years. • Construction Period – 1 Years 0 Months Repayment Period – 19 Years 0 Months Concession Period – 20 Year 0 Months
