Important aspect of Ultimate = Spirit of the Game (fair play, respect, and joy of playing) NO CONTACT allowed (a foul consists of “any action sufficient to arouse the ire of your opponent”) All rules are SELF-OFFICIATED A receiver may take TWO STEPS following a catch, then must establish a PIVOT FOOT and take no more than 10 seconds to throw (or throw on the run prior to taking a 3rd step) Important Game Aspects
