  5. What is a fan letter? • 1. A letter that is fun to read. • A letter from someone who admires a person or a group of people. • A letter about volunteering.

  31. Sometimes, when the letters “m” and “b” come together, the “b” is silent. For example, we saw in the letter the word “numb”. When you say that word, you don’t say the “b”. Let’s look at the letter again and find two more examples of words with the silent “b”.
