Engage students in a fun activity to differentiate between "ser" and "estar" in Spanish. Distribute popsicle sticks with the words printed on them or allow students to choose their own signs. Present sentences and images for students to match with the correct verb, promoting comprehension. Ideal for Spanish language classrooms.

The teacher should distribute popsicle sticks with "ser" written on one, and "estar" written on another. Or, you can use whatever you want to have the kids hold up either SER or ESTAR for each slide shown. An example of a slide: A sentence that says "The boy is sick today." There is also a picture of a sick boy on the slide. Students would hold up either "SER" or "ESTAR" to indicate comprehension of this concept.
