  2. Trinity - History & Purpose • Trinity Ministries founded by Steve & Gay Claypool, based in the Nashville, TN area • Primary purpose is to save money for camps, conference/retreat centers and churches so they can reinvest those dollars and be more effective in their mission • Became affiliated with HPSI at the beginning of 2005 as effectively their ministry division • Serving over 1,700 members in all 50 states and collectively saving them over $9M per year

  3. HPSI - History & Purpose • Industry leading group purchasing organization based in Irvine, CA • Founded in 1964 by combining purchasing volume of 4 hospitals • Traditional membership includes healthcare providers, educational institutions and hospitality businesses • Purpose is to leverage $9B buying power of over 14,000 members to save them on quality products, services and equipment • Vast portfolio of agreements covering foodservice, office supplies, maintenance products, paint, janitorial supplies, capital equipment and much more

  4. ACA MEMBER STATISTICS • 374 ACA members were already Trinity/HPSI members prior to the partnership announcement in early December 2013 • 58 ACA members have joined since the partnership announcement! • In 2013, our ACA members purchased over $19M through the Trinity/HPSI program • By conservative estimates, our ACA members are collectively saving more than $3M annually

  5. ACA MEMBER TESTIMONIALS • Jane Sanborn of Sanborn Western Camps is a supporter of the Trinity/HPSI program since joining in November 2006 Jane said, “We have been members of Trinity/HPSI Purchasing Services for 8 years and have annually saved up to 15% on our food purchases through Trinity's agreements with our suppliers. Through Trinity we have also saved on office supplies, maintenance supplies, and housekeeping supplies. Trinity has a large supplier directory and they continue to add new suppliers each year. They also provide outstanding customer service.” • John Farmer of the Don Lee Center is a supporter of the Trinity/HPSI program since joining in December 2005 John said, “We have received great service and great savings through Trinity Ministries. I have always looked at Steve Claypool as a partner in ministry.  His interest seems to be that which will support our ministry.   It helps a lot to know that pricing is controlled under the HPSI contracts so our staff don’t have to spend a lot of time dealing with sales people and comparing prices.  In addition to huge savings on food service, the non-food agreements have been a significant help. Arrangements for free shipping and next day delivery is huge.  We try to never need to go to town to shop, a 60 mile round trip at best.  I have evaluated other GPO programs but have always found Trinity/HPSI to be the best.”

  6. Trinity/HPSI – Partnership Structure Camp ABC becomes a Trinity/HPSI member to gain access to negotiated agreements with multiple vendors, but maintains their direct relationship with each vendor Camp ABC Trinity Ministries HPSI Propane Athletic Supplies Food Janitorial Maintenance Credit Card Services Other Paint Office Other Camp ABC

  7. Trinity/HPSI Benefits For ACA Members • Zero cost membership – Free! • No obligation – No Risk! • Access to discounted prices – Save Money! • No or minimal operational modifications – Easy! • Quick and responsive customer service – Support! • Margin control, the vendor’s rep does not set pricing – Protection! • Member chooses which vendors to use – Control! • Quick and easy enrollment process – 15 minutes!

  8. Foodservice Pricing Structure Foodservice is typically the #1 area of cost savings • Typical savings of 10-20% compared to street pricing • Greatest savings achieved on invoice price at time of purchase: 2 main factors • Margin Control - HPSI negotiates set margins that are applied to the foodservice distributor’s true cost. This is a significant benefit as the servicing sales representative no longer has the ability to increase prices. • Manufacturer Allowances - HPSI negotiates directly with hundreds of manufacturers / brands and thousands of items to reduce the distributor’s cost to which the set margin is applied • Incentives & Rebates provide further savings • Delivery Size Incentive • Prompt Payment Incentive • Rebates
