  1. Province Day—March 29, 2014 Our Charism Family: New Vocations, Associates, Partners in Mission

  2. Song: “The Summons”—Verse 1Will you come and follow me if I but call your name? Will you go where you don’t knowand never be the same? Will you let my love be shown? Will you let my name be known? Will you let my life be grown in you and you in me?

  3. Constitutions—Article 1 As Sisters of Notre Dame we share in the special gifts of the Holy Spirit given to our spiritual mother, Julie Billiart, to our foundress, HilligondeWolbring, and to our co-foundress, Elisabeth Kuhling. Hilligonde’scharism, a deep experience of God’s provident care, moved her to a compassionate love for others, especially poor children.

  4. Song: “The Summons”—Verse 2Will you let the blinded see if I but call your name? Will you set the prisoners free and never be the same? Will you kiss the leper clean and do such as this unseen; and admit to what I mean in you and you in me?

  5. Constitutions—Article 1 (continued) Through the formation, the living tradition, and the Constitutions which our first Coesfeld sisters received from the Amersfoort sisters, our congregation shares in the charism of Julie Billiart, a deep experience of God’s goodness: “Ah, qu’ilest bon, le bon Dieu.”

  6. Song: “The Summons”—Verse 4Will you love the “you” you hide if I but call your name? Will you quell the fear inside and never be the same? Will you use the faith you’ve found to reshape the world around, through my sight and touch and sound in you and you in me?

  7. Constitutions—Article 1 (continued) The charism of our congregation, a deep experience of God’s goodness and provident care, continues to be enriched by the creative fidelity of each Sister of Notre Dame.

  8. Song: “The Summons”—Verse 5 Lord, your summons echoes true when you but call my name. Let me turn and follow you and never be the same. In your company I’ll go where your love and footsteps show. This I’ll move and live and grow in you and you in me.
