  4. Le pays mesure 470 km de long sur 135 km de large. Il y a 4 grandes régions : Le littoral, à l'ouest, avec un climat méditerranéen, La Galilée, au nord, où se trouve le mont Hermon (1 208 m) La vallée du Jourdain, à l'est, qui relie le lac de Tibériade à la Mer Morte, Le désert du Néquev, au sud, qui occupe près de la moitié du pays.
