  2. Input Device • Enters data INTO the computer.

  3. Mouse Moves the cursor and selects things

  4. Keyboard The keyboard lets type in letters, numbers, and symbols.

  5. Webcam • Records and sends video & sound through the Internet.

  6. Scanner It makes a copy of the object that is placed on it and sends the into the computer.

  7. Output Device • Processes data coming OUT of the computer.

  8. Monitor Shows pictures & videos coming out of the computer.

  9. Printer Printers make a copy of your work on paper.

  10. Storage Device • Lets you SAVE data.

  11. CPU/Hard Drive The hard drive is the brain of the computer where you save most of your work.

  12. USB or Flash Drive A USB (or flash drive) is a portable storage device used to save any form of data.

  13. CD-Rom Drive The CD-Rom Drive is used to play CDs or save to CDs.

  14. CD or DVD Contains the information to run a program or save data like music, images, or videos.
