Planning is all about pulling in the same direction with a destination in mind. • Strategic Planning • provides continuity between leadership teams and provides a common understanding for all Club Members • Planning steps • Vision • Long Range Plan • Actions, Tactical Club Plan and Programs to be Instituted • Continuity, Consistency, and Consensus (Unanimity)

  4. Effective Clubs: • Sustain Members • Successful Service Projects • Support the Rotary Foundation • Develop leaders beyond club level

  5. Elevator Speech The Fidalgo Island Rotary is an active service club that values its members through fellowship at our meetings and monthly social events. Our mission is 'Service Above Self‘ We are committed to serving the needs of Anacortes and the International Community. We provide scholarships, international exchanges, and leadership opportunities for the youth in our community. We also support our members while they are on missions throughout the globe. Two popular events that we our club is know for are the Shipwreck Days held in July and the children’s boat building booth at the Waterfront Festival. We financially support our Rotary Foundation which helps promote peace and understanding through international outreach projects.
