Patience is a Virtue. By Aleia Woodard. A week and four days after her due date, Patience was taken to the hospital on a Sunday night at 7pm. Her plan was to go in, refuse medication, and have a quick vaginal birth. The doctors induced her labor with a Foley Catheter and Pitocin.

  2. A week and four days after her due date, Patience was taken to the hospital on a Sunday night at 7pm.

  3. Her plan was to go in, refuse medication, and have a quick vaginal birth.

  4. The doctors induced her labor with a Foley Catheter and Pitocin.

  5. After being told she would sleep through the night, her nonstop contractions prevented her from getting any type of sleep.

  6. She was given an epidural to help with the pain.

  7. After such a long battle, she was told she would have to have a cesarean section (C-section)

  8. After 22 hours of labor, baby Silas was born on Monday April 7th at 7:20 pm weighing 7 lbs 13 oz
