AmEx Transition Statistics

This document provides a summary of the AmEx transition statistics as of December 2008. A total of 6,640 cards are scheduled for issuance, including 884 for procurement and 4,105 for travel. Notably, we received feedback on 4,500 card recommendations from our users. There are currently 143 GE cards held open until January and February 2009. Enhancements include adding restaurant MCC codes to the Procurement Cards, set to be announced in January 2009. For further inquiries, several contacts and resources are provided for assistance.

AmEx TransitionAdditional Information • We received responses on 4,500 card recommendations out of 6,200 that were made. • Currently holding open 143 GE cards through January ’09, some through February 15/09. • We have been successful in adding “restaurant” MCC codes to the Procurement Cards (BLUE), to be announced in Jan ‘09. • During the November BAG meeting we were granted permission to communicate directly with cardholders, reconcilers and approvers.
