Legal Aspects of Implementation of Biodiversity Related Conventions in Central Europe • Scope: CBD, CITIS, CMS and RAMSAR • Geographical Scope: 12 countries • AL, BiH, BG, HR, CZ, HU, MK, PO, RO, SL, SK and FRY • Prepared for UNEP/IUCN Workshop on Implementation of Biodiversity Related Conventions, Kazakhstan, June 1999

  6. CITES National Legislative analysis Geographical Scope: New parties of the Convention 6 countries: Azerbaijan, Croatia, FRY Macedonia, Kazakhstan, Slovenia and Ukraine. Output: A brief background paper (3 - 6 pages) identifying and reviewing the main practical steps for incorporating MEAs into national legislation;

  7. NIS Background Paper on Implementation of UNEP Conventions • Develop a background paper on implementation of MEAs in NIS countries. • The paper will be presented at the Kiev Ministerial Conference
