  2. INTRODUCTION CHAPTER 36 AGENDA 21 Education is critical for promoting sustainable development. It improves capacity of people to address environment and development issues. Education is a driving force for the change needed.

  3. Education and Economic Growth Earth Charter states; • Society should aim for growth that is in harmony with the environment and work to achieve zero emissions, through all areas of business activities.

Education, a Platform for green job training. • Integration of Adaptation and Mitigation strategies in all levels of education. • Innovation of new skills/ idealogyand/or skills transfer. • Application of multiple efforts from stakeholders. • Research and appropriate approaches/strategies to be put in place. • Capacity building for all stakeholders.

  5. Lesotho best practices on CCE that enhance green job training • Curriculum restructuring 2013 that incorporated CC issues. • Celebration of world International Environment days. • Projects development that addressed CC challenges . • Training & Capacity building of stakeholders on CC issues.
