  2. Established due to exchange forums between FOs in 2012 and 2013 Lao Farmers Network

  3. The Network was established in January 2014 • There are 17 farmer organizations in the network Lao Farmer Network

  5. Access to credits Access to information Objectives / Policy supports needed Improve marketing Access to external supports Sharing of resources between farmers Farmer to farmer knowledge exchange

  6. There are 5 people in the management committee which are voted by the members • Each committee members have responsibility in oversea implementation of the network plans • The committee meet twice a year • 1 general meeting per year for all members Coordination mechanism

  7. Develop membership form • Develop a leaflet for the network​ • Organize a workshop to improve management of the network and the members • Organize a thematic workshop on sustainable agriculture • Organize a conference to expand members • Organize a management training to all members Plan of 2014

Organize a study visit to Jay Coffee to learn about quality control • Exhibit farmers products in Thatluangfestival • Organize steering committee meetings • Participate in SWGABactivities • Organize a study tour in Vietnam to learn about networking • Produce video on farmer organizations in Laos • Develop a website for the network Plan of 2014
