  2. Remember back to yesterday’s lesson… • What should be your first step when dividing? Why is this important? • How do you know that your answer is correct? What should you do?

  3. Today.. 2 Digit Quotients!!!! • What do you think the first step should be? Second, third? • How is the process of finding a 2 digit quotient similar/different from finding a 1 digit quotient?

  4. Lets try some together… 985 divided by 47= 678 divided by 33=

  5. Independent Practice In your notebook, turn to a clean page and put a proper heading. Please advance to the next slide and complete # 11-15. ** What two things should you remember to do to help gage your quotients?**

  6. Independent Practice # 11-15 • 864 divided by 76= • 279 divided by 23= • 710 divided by 63= • 638 divided by 18= • 582 divided by 48 =

  7. After you have finished.. • Check your quotients with Mrs. Sykora. • Go to Mrs. Sykora’s website and click on ‘Math and Literacy Extras’. • You may complete Math Bingo (choose division and try all 3 levels.) • You may also complete Math Man (division). • If you have time left over, you can play Math Fact Shoot Out.
