Conclusion • More similar are the chemicals characteristics of the new products (in terms of chain lenght S content and Cl content), more similar results are obtained on leather articles. • The new chlorinated and sulpho-chlorinated chemicals can be easily used to produce a common fatliquoring agent. • The new chlorinated and sulpho-chlorinated chemicals didn’t request particular application process and may be replaced instead of chlorinated and sulpho-chlorinated paraffin to produce very similar results.
