NALOXONE BE PREPARED - HIGHER DOSE PRESCRIPTION OPIOIDS - OPIOIDS + BENZOS COMBINED - OPIOID DEPENDENTS - INJECTING OPIOIDS AT RISK - UNCONSCIOUS OR NON-RESPONSIVE - BLUE SKIN/LIPS - PINPOINT PUPILS - SLOW/NO BREATHING SIGNS OF OVERDOSE HOW TO RESPOND CALL 999 UNCONSCIOUS + BREATHING UNCONSCIOUS NOT BREATHING - ADMINISTER NALOXONE - START CPR - ADMINISTER NALOXONE - RECOVERY POSITION - WALKING - SHOWER/BATH - SLAPPING ETC NO IN KIT FOLLOW INSTRUCTIONS NASAL SPRAY (NYXOID) INJECTION (PRENOXAD) - Keep Sealed - Twist cap off - Inject into arm or thigh - One dose every 2-3 mins until responsive - Place in original box between doses - Sharps bin after usage - Do no test beforehand - Tilt head backwards - Place spray in nostril, press plunger until clicks - Another dose every 2-3 mins until responsive REPLACE/REFRESH KIT AS NEEDED
