  4. Where do River Otters live? • River Otters live in rivers. • They live in mushy gushy marshes. • They even live in ponds!

  5. What does a River Otter look like? • River Otters have small flat heads. • They have long thick necks. • They even have thick tails.

  6. What are behaviors of a River Otter? • They can spend 3-4 minutes underwater! • River Otters are nocturnal. • The female River Otter can have 2-3 baby cub pups at a time.

  7. What do River Otters eat and how do they hunt? • River Otters eat crustaceans. • River Otters eat mammals. • They even eat snakes!

  8. What predators do River Otters have and how do they protect themselves? • River Otters protect themselves by having webbed feet. • They have a bald eagle as a predator. • They also have a coyote as a predator!
