  1. Welcome to the IWFA New EU Target Market Model & SEM HLD Consultation Workshop

Workshop Introduction The purpose of this workshop today is to educate our members and attendees to better understand the proposed monumental changes to the SEM and how our members may be affected by the EU target model for electricity market integration and the significant threats that may arise due to the exclusion of the independent SME generator on the SEM HLD to date.

  3. Concerns of the IWFA Has on the SEM HLD • The establishment of the SEM HLD Review Group which excluded the Independent SME wind farm generators • No cost benefit analysis or working examples on the four options to date. • Change the language on the delivery of the options • The Implementation of the SEM HLD Design needs to be slowed down
