  2. Water is a need for humans.

  3. Water can be used to clean ourselves.

  4. Water is also needed by animals like dogs.

  5. All living things need water, like these flowers…

  6. …and this potted plant.

  7. If you need to cross water you can use a bridge, like this one.

  8. Water comes in many forms, like lakes and rivers.

  9. There are two rivers that snake around Manhattan. The East River and the Hudson River. This is the East River.

  10. Water can come in many forms, like ice.

  11. Water is used in so many ways! Did you know that whenever you take a shower, you are using 15-25 gallons of water? Water is amazing! In a survey (how much percent of water do you think is in your body) of my class, I got some interesting results: O people thought that the human body is O%-25% water. 6 people thought that the human body is 25%-50% water. 18 people thought that the human body is 50%-100% water. Water is used in more ways than you know: It takes 1 gallon of water to proses 1 hamburger. It takes 100 gallons of water to grow and produce a watermelon. A dairy cow has to drink 4 gallon of water to produce 1 gallon of milk. As you can see, water is very useful. But, like all of our resources, water is limited. Help conserve water!
