Zinedine Zidane. By: Moutaz Shabab. What Clubs and National Teams Does He Play For?.
By: Moutaz Shabab
He played in three youth clubs and four professional clubs. The youth clubs are: US Saint-Henri, SO Septemes Valons, and AS Cannes. The professional clubs he plays in are: AS Cannes, Girondins de Bordeaux, Juventus, and Real Madrid. The national team he plays for is: France.
He has been playing for twenty four years (clubs and national). He is a midfielder and is the playmaker for the French team. He is now a retired football player.
He is very good in assisting goals and shooting the ball in the goal. He lead his national team into two world cup finals and made his team win the first one in 1998 against Brazil and scored two goals in a 3-0 win. The second one France vs. Italy (which was his last game in his football career) he lost in a result of head butting Marco Materazzi (because the Italian player insulted his sister) he got a red card and the rest of the French team lost the penalty shootout. He also a very experienced player and is now the Real Madrid sporting director.
I enjoy watching him because he has great skills on the ball, gives good passes, and scores amazing goals. Here is a link: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=MDjYYxbTlWo&feature=grec_index
Zinedine Zidane was born in 24/6/1972, he is now 39 years old. He was born in the city of Marseille, France.
He has and French nationality but his ancestors came from Algeria.
He got some red cards the two ones I know are: One foot stamp in the 1998 World Cup in the second group match against Saudi Arabia on the player Fuad Anwar. The second one and last one in his career I know and the most famous is in the 2006 World Cup Final head butt on the Italian player Marco Materazzi.
