It is cheap medicine.” • Some of his poetries were “a spirit passed before me”, “Churchil’s Gave”, “Stanzas to Augusta”, and some of his famous stories which are “Florence and Pisa, “when we two parted”, “the destruction of Sennacherib”. • he was known as a leading figure in the romantic movement,the lengthy narrative poems Don Juan and Childe Harold's Pilgrimage and the short lyric She Walks in Beauty.  Notes: This was one of his best quotes: “Always laugh when you can. Career • he was encouraged to write his first volumes of poetry. • “Hours of Idleness” was one of his famous poems written about his beloved cousin Mary which was badly received by the audience. • He acted in two plays that were organized for the community. • “To Mary” was another of his poems he wrote. • traveled throughout Mediterranean visiting Spain, Malta, Albania, Greece, and the Aegean.   7. Later Life • Lord Byron visited Saint Lazarus Island in Venice which he got used to the American culture. • He started learning Armenian language with the help of Father H. Avgerian. • He also did some important translation works like Epistle of Paul to the Corinthians. • He was consideredas the father of Armenology. • he joined the powerful Greek politician, Alexandros Mavrokordatos. • Planned to attack the Turkish fortress of Lepanto. • before he could actually sail off to the war, he fell ill on February 15, 1824 and passed away.
