  2. Introduction • Things that got me interested in this field our that I know a lot about computers and I wouldn’t mind building them as a career, I Already did build my own computer already. At least I know it would be a easy career. • (This is what my computer looks like) 

  3. Tasks • Build working prototypes of the computer equipment •  Test prototypes to determine their reliability and ability to be manufactured economically and with consistent quality •  Discover and correct logic errors and other faults in fabricated prototypes prior to production •  Install and monitor initial computer products at various test sites (pilots) to validate actual performance by outside users •  Correct any faults reported by pilot users prior to the product being released for mass production

  4. Working Conditions • Mental, they often function as part of a team, but occasionally some of their work is done independently. Computer Hardware Engineers usually work in offices that are comfortable, well lighted and air conditioned. They may also spend time in well equipped laboratories, manufacturing facilities, classrooms or customer worksites.

  5. Educational Needs • Education: Most of these occupations require a four - year bachelor's degree, but some do not. • Training: Employees in these occupations usually need several years of work-related experience, on-the-job training.

  6. Job Out Look • Average Salary-$79,654 - $121,587 • The number of computer hardware engineers is expected to grow slower than the average for all occupations through 2018. More people will need computers and related products made by these engineers, but some of these products will come from foreign countries.

  7. Life Style Goals • I would like to make at least 80,000 dollars a year • To live in a big house • Own a 20,000 guitar • Go to a foreign country

  8. Back up plan If I had to choose a different career It would maybe video game designer they design games, they create the story and characters. Their average salary is from 65,000 to 75,000.

  9. How I Feel • I do look forward to be a computer engineer I’m not really looking forward to the education though. But overall I think I chose a good career field to get into.
