Pittsburgh Academy of Implantology 2008-2009 Organizational Goals • Provide current educational topics in dental implantoloty to our members • Improve communication within the greater Pittsburgh dental community regarding implant dentistry • Quality CE of interest to membership • Continue free membership appreciation courses.

  5. Pittsburgh Academy of Implantology Goals Cont. • Improved website interaction. • Continue growth of membership • Continue to have members bring new idea, treatments and controversies • Continued positive relationships with Pennsylvania Dental Association.

Pittsburgh Academy of Implantology CE Goals • Improve dental health providers with the most up to date information and treatment education regarding dental implantology • Inform dental health care professionals of changes in technology and standard of care regulations regarding dental implantology. • Inform dental health care professionals of the latest recommendations of professional organizations (AGD, ADA, PDA) and government agencies (CDC, OSHA) • Meet the needs and interests of our members

Pittsburgh Academy of Implantology 2008-2009 Schedule • October 28 (6-8pm): Mr. Sven Jesse – Single Unit Restoration /Impression Techniques/Guides • November 25 (6-8 pm): Mrs. Heather Neary – Marketing and Creative Strategy for Dental Implants • December: Holiday Break • January 27 (6-8 pm): Mr. Sven Jesse – Over Denture/ Full Mouth Reconstruction • February 24 (2-5 pm): Ms. Missy Draveky - Staff Management and Coordination ( ½ day) • March 31 (6-8 pm): Dr. Dean Vafiadis, DDS (prosthodontist) – Immediate Occlusal Loading/ Immediate Temporary Single Unit Provisionalization • April 28 (6-8 pm): Mr. Jim Siller (CT guided laboratory specialist), Mr. Sven Jesse, Dr. Wayne Roccia – CT Guided Treatments
