Selected Additional E2C PD Activities Support from NSF Geoscience Education Grant 0331232 (2004 – 2006) enabled: • Curriculum development workshops with Dr. Pearl Solomon (STAC) • 1st NYS ES Teacher Conference (2004)Focus: What Do ES Teachers Need? • 2nd NYS ES Teacher Conference (2005)Focus: Developing Curriculum Units and other web-based resources • Access to LDEO facilities and field experiences (kayaking, hiking)

Solomon • Overwhelmingly positive about increase in content knowledge, empowerment about interactions with researchers, usefulness of web-based resources for teacher and student use, and much more
