  2. Task and StatusOverview • After completing this lesson, you will be able to identify the transactions available under Task and Status.

Tasks and Status • The Task and Status page allows you to view any 'in process' forms or drafts that were previously saved • You may also view any forms that are awaiting your approval • It also allows you to view the people in the approval process for an individual request Task and Status: Overview

  4. Tasks and Status • On the Task and Status tab you will be able to view a wide range of forms including completed forms (history) as well as anything currently in process Task and Status: Overview

Tasks and Status • To view forms, you MUST have: • Adobe Reader 8 as an absolute minimum; it is strongly recommended that you have Adobe Reader 10 or higher • All visuals used in this course were captured from Adobe Reader 10 • If you are not using version 10, your results may differ from the graphics shown in this course Task and Status: Overview

  6. Forms My Tasks Topic 1 • After completing this topic, you will be able to identify the transactions available under “My Tasks.”

  7. Task and Status • To navigate to the Task and Status page from the ESS page (home page for MSS SAP), click Task and Status at the top of the page Task and Status: My Tasks

  8. Task and Status • In the Detailed Navigation pane, click My Tasks; this will display all forms in your queue waiting for your approval, and all forms that you have started and saved in Draft Task and Status: My Tasks

  9. Task and Status • You can open a form for review and then approve it or reject it; if approved, it will move to the next step in the process with no further action by you Task and Status: My Tasks

  10. Task and Status • If the form is a draft, you can select it and take one of 3 actions: • Resubmit it • Place it back into the approval process • Assign to Me • Take assignment of the form for further processing • Open Form • For review or to continue editing Task and Status: My Tasks

Task and Status • With the form opened you can: • View People Involved in Process • Add Attachment to the form • Save Draft for later completion • Withdraw Process to withdraw the form from the process • Check and Send to move it along to the next person in the process for approval Task and Status: My Tasks

  12. Task and Status • Selecting the People Involved in Process link will display person in the process along with their Status in the process Task and Status: My Tasks

  13. Task and Status • You can also withdraw the form from the process by clicking Withdraw Process. Withdrawing a form will cancel the form. Once the form has been withdrawn it is not available for edit or processing. You will need to initiate the process again once it has been withdrawn. Task and Status: My Tasks

  14. Task and Status • You can approve the form and send it back into the process; click Check and Send, which will automatically send to the next person in the approval chain Task and Status: My Task

  15. Task and Status • To print a form, click the Print icon Task and Status: My Tasks

  16. Task and Status • To email the form, click the Save icon and save it to your computer; you can then attach it to an email from the saved location Task and Status: My Tasks

  18. Task and Status • In the Detailed Navigation pane, click My Request Status to display a list and the status of all the forms you have submitted Task and Status: My Request Status

  19. Task and Status • Select the item from the list you want to review; click Details Task and Status: My Request Status

  20. Task and Status • If you click Details, you will be presented with a pop-up box showing all the details of your form in process; if you wish to withdraw your request, click Withdraw Process. Once the form has been completed the Withdraw Process button will not be available Task and Status: My Request Status

  21. Task and Status My Request Status • If you click Withdraw Process, you will be presented with a confirmation box Task and Status: My Request Status

  22. Task and Status • If you click Yes, you will be returned to the My Request status main page, where you will see the confirmation that your request was canceled Task and Status: My Request Status

  23. Task and Status • If you want to filter the view to select what information is displayed, click Settings Task and Status: My Request Status

  24. Task and Status • Selecting a tab will allow you access different features that let you to change how the information is displayed Task and Status: My Request Status
