  4. 芒草 （學名：Miscanthus）是各種芒屬植物的統稱，含有約15到20個物種，屬禾本科。生於非洲與亞洲的亞熱帶與熱帶地區。 台灣芒草的種類主要有四種：五節芒、台灣芒、白背芒、高山芒。 秋天開花，葉下有白色粉末的「台灣芒」

  5. 楓香 楓香學名：Liquidambar formosana Hance 科名：金鏤梅科 Hamamelidaceae 別名：楓仔樹 特徵：落葉喬木，芽卵形， 具5-6鱗片。單葉，互生，托葉早落；掌狀3-7裂，具細長葉柄 ，花單性，雌雄同株，無花瓣；先長葉後開花。分布：全台灣中、低海拔常見，亦分布於中國大陸兩廣、福建、浙江、江西、河南、湖北、四川、貴州等省，極普遍。 用途常被栽培為庭園樹及行道樹， 因其樹形優美，也是建築及造船之上等材料，此外楓香之樹幹可提煉楓膠供藥用。

  11. 水質 • 此觀測地點的水質已經較為混濁，除了水中生物及污泥的影響外，還有人為的污染 • 家庭廢水排放 • 漂流垃圾 • 家畜排泄物

  12. 人為破壞 • 河道整治 • 道路、橋的鋪設 • 家庭廢水 • 垃圾污染 • 河堤岸附近養家畜，任意排泄物 • 農人在河床上種植農作物，有農藥污染

  13. 其他觀察 • 每逢大雨 溪水暴漲 • 上游忽然下起豪大雨，大量雨水流入河道，讓水位瞬間上升，往下游傾洩
