FIRSTSTEP • Although students may take the TSI at Hudson, they must complete a Pre-Assessment Activity. • HHS uses the PAA from Angelina College. • In order to take the PAA, students must have an email address. • Students planning to attend AC must fill out the application or the concurrent/dual credit application

  3. HOW TO APPLY TO AC: • GO TO www.angelina.edu • Graduating seniors will fill out the admission application • Students taking dual credit courses should complete the concurrent/dual credit application

  4. Concurrent continued… • Click on the application for dual credit/concurrent admission • Complete the application • Print the final page with the campus email and student ID#

  5. NEXT STEP: SIGN-UP FOR TSI • SIGN UP WITH MRS ROSSER IN THE COUNSELING OFFICE. • BE ASSIGNED A TEST DATE AND TIME • RECEIVE INFORMATION REGARDING STUDY MATERIALS

  7. PRE-ASSESSMENT ACTIVITY • GO TO www.angelina.edu • Click on the link to the PAA. • When filling out the initial info, students must fill in an email address, the college they plan to attend and their student ID# if they have one • Complete the PAA

PAA COMPLETION CONFIRMATION • ONCE THE PAA IS COMPLETE, A CONFIRMATION EMAIL WILL BE SENT TO THE EMAIL ADDRESS • ACCESS YOUR EMAIL AND PRINT A COPY OF THE CONFIRMATION • STUDENTS CANNOT TEST UNLESS THEY TURN IN A COPY OF THE CONFIRMATION • DO NOT DELETE THE EMAIL. SAVE THE EMAIL IN CASE OTHER INSTITUTIONS NEED A COPY

TAKING TSI • TSI WILL BE ADMINISTERED AT HHS • STUDENTS MUST PROVIDE A PICTURE ID • STUDENTS MUST TURN IN A COPY OF THE PAA CONFIRMATION PRIOR TO TESTING • STUDENTS CANNOT HAVE ACCESS TO CELL PHONES, IPADS, IPODS OR ANY OTHER ELECTRONIC DIVICES • THE TEST PROVIDES AN ON-SCREEN CALCULATOR FOR THE MATH TEST

  11. SCORES: • SCORE REPORTING IS IMMEDIATE • THERE IS NOT A WAITING PERIOD FOR RETAKES; HOWEVER, STUDENTS ARE ENCOURAGED TO TAKE TIME TO PREPARE IF A RETEST IN NECESSARY
