  1. CMA Course : Eligibility Criteria & Exam Pattern CMA stands for Certified Management Accountant. It is a professional certification in the field of management accounting, awarded by the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). The CMA program focuses on financial planning, analysis, control, decision-making, and professional ethics, and is designed for accountants and finance professionals working in industry, government, or not-for-profit organizations. Individuals who pass the CMA exam and meet other requirements are awarded the CMA credential. Eligibility Criteria for US CMA Courses: To be eligible to take the CMA exam and earn the CMA certification in the United States, individuals must meet the following criteria: 1. Education: Candidates must have at least a bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university. 2. Experience: Candidates must have two years of professional work experience in management accounting or financial management. 3. Membership: Candidates must be members of the Institute of Management Accountants (IMA). 4. Ethics: Candidates must agree to abide by the IMA Statement of Ethical Professional Practice. 5. Exam: Candidates must pass the two-part CMA exam, which covers financial planning, performance and control, and financial decision-making. The exam is scored on a scale of 0 to 500, and a minimum score of 360 is required to pass each part. Candidates are required to pass both parts within three years of passing the first part.
