How can GEM increase its impact on government policies towards entrepreneurship and innovation: National/subnational/regional/municipal level: depending the size of the country Listen carefully what the policy makers want to know Beneficiaries are entrepreneurs Find the critical areas Find the connection points between policy makers and GEM Find a target persons and institutions Offer trustable appropriate significant measurable indicators Media oriented strategies

  6. What are the tools/methodologies necessary to impact government policies towards entrepreneurship and innovation: Media Discussion Meetings Information Clearing House Sharing Interesting Findings Best Practices Create connections between officers of different countries

  7. Recommendations 1. GEM Regional Board (Spain), put together all stakeholders (academia, policy makers, business people) 2. Antigua Forum (Guatemala) Breaking the Global Report in special reports to increase the communication and presence Developing interregional (multinational, but regional) projects Take into the consideration the risk of depending on public financing
