Information • •Elderly or overweight animals heal slower. • •The prosthetic limb must be fitted well and snug. • •Thing called a microprocessor (computer chip) and sensors measure the angle and force and makes the limb move. • •Better animal prosthetics can lead to better human prosthetics. • •Sometimes, it can be hard to attach a prosthetic if there's no leg left to attach it to. • •Front legs hold 60% of a dog's weight. • •Dogs without front legs can develop spinal issues ( curved spines ).
