Risk Assessment Tool in general practice • The main value of the tool is not for picking up the ‘barn door’ symptoms but in helping with more nuanced ‘grey’ areas. • GPs will need to have a good understanding of the tool and symptoms • Ongoing mentoring and support for using the tool is needed, especially during the QOF season! • Need to ensure the tear-off pad is completed each time the tool is used • The tool should be helpful in supporting a more thematic risk assessment
