miss • Means not to do something that you plan to do. • If we don’t hurry, we will miss the beginning of the movie. • Means to be sorry that you don’t have something, or that someone you like isn’t with you. • I miss my sister when she goes to camp in the summer.
dull • Not sharp • The knife is so dull that it is not sharp. • Not interesting • The program was very dull.
