JAM Show Goals 2011 JAM Project Show • Encourage, recognize, facilitate and reward learning and the development of skills through the design, construction and exhibition of an AgMech project and/or Tractor Restoration. • Showcase the outstanding leadership, technical abilities and accomplishments of Texas youth.

Show Progress since 2001 2011 JAM Project Show • 2001 – First JAM Show – 37 schools/clubs, 106 projects judged – Four Judges • 2002 – First year for Tractor Restoration • 2004 – Established scholarships • 2007 – Scholarship amounts increased and Barn space doubled • 2009 – Additional scholarship awards across divisions • 2011 – Added Assistant JAM Superintendent - 626 Projects entered, 182 Schools/Clubs and 1517 exhibitors. 58% of projects entered (365) were judged by 60 judges.

  5. Approximately 80 AgMech volunteer committee members including Rick Laden, Sub Committee Chair and Mike Gwinn Co-Chair work most of the year putting this show together. The AgMech Committee is a Sub-Committee of the Livestock Committee of the San Antonio Stock Show and Rodeo. Dr. Lon R. Shell is the JAM Show Superintendent Pat Real is the Assistant JAM Show Superintendent San Antonio Stock Show & Rodeo Officials are listed in the Livestock Show Premium List.
