Club Management (Continued) Planning and Conducting Retreat – (CB1) • The purpose of a Retreat is to address concerns and overcome obstacles that cannot be successfully discussed or solved at a regular meetings. • Use the handy planning guide to conduct a Retreat for your club. • Properly planned and run Retreats are positive experiences for all the participants.

  7. Orientation Guide (ME13) Conducting new member orientations will engage members in your club. Orientation helps new members commit to club, learn what it means to be a Lion. President’s Retention Campaign (PRC1) Excellent program to help club presidents recognize and address retention issues within their club. Working Together (PRC2) Practical guide for helping club members work together; is a “must-read” for every club president. 3. Member Retention

Service Activities • Making It Happen (TK10) • Identify a community • Talk to people…find an unmet need in • community. • Identify people to address the need. • Gather community-minded people who are • interested in supporting the new project. • Show them how a Lions club can help • them accomplish their goals.
