Preferir • The verb preferir has an eie stem change. • It can be followed by a noun to say what someone prefers or by an infinitive to say what someone would rather do or prefers to do. nosotros(as) preferimos yo prefiero tú prefieres vosotros(as) preferís Ud., él, ella prefiere Uds., ellos, ellas prefieren

Preferir • The verb preferir has an eie stem change. • It can be followed by a noun to say what someone prefers or by an infinitive to say what someone would rather do or prefers to do. ¿Prefieres salir o ver televisión? ¿Prefieres jugo o leche? Would you rather go out or watch TV? Do you prefer juice or milk?

Poder • The verbs poder and probar have an oue stem change. nosotros(as) podemos yo puedo tú puedes vosotros(as) podéis Ud., él, ella puede Uds., ellos, ellas pueden • Poder is normally followed by an infinitive to say what someone may, is able to, or can do. ¿Nos puedetraer otra silla? Can you bring us another chair?

  5. Probar • Probar means to try something, as in to taste. nosotros(as) probamos yo pruebo tú pruebas vosotros(as) probáis Ud., él, ella prueba Uds., ellos, ellas prueban How about trying the soup? ¿Qué tal si pruebas la sopa?
