Outdoor UHV Test Facility • Step 1 - Facilities • Control room; • Impulse generator 6.4 MV; • Central gantry • Interconnection trench between the control room and the base of the 6.4 MV impulse generator; • Base of the storage shed • Commissioned equipment • Impulse generator 6.4 MV • DC Source ±800 kV; 0,5 A • AC Source - 1 phase: 750 kV, 1 A.

Outdoor UHV Test Facility • Step 1 - Tests • Tests that can be performed on insulators for transmission line or busbar, under AC or DC (UHV class -1000 kV AC and 800 kV DC) • Applied Voltage Tests AC and DC (withstandability and Corona) • Lightning Impulse • Switching Impulse • Combined Tests under AC voltage – AC Source + Impulse generator • Combined Tests under DC voltage – DC Source + Impulse generator • Radio-interference test under AC voltage (single phase) • Radio-interference test under DC voltage (single pole)
