Who is Aera Energy? • One of California’s largest oil and gas producers • 25% of state’s production • Jointly owned by Shell and ExxonMobil • Looking to Penn State to grow recruiting efforts • Recruiting mostly for Petroleum and Gas Engineers • Can only recruit students who want to work in CA • Small company—very selective

How Aera would like to be involved at PSU • Build relationships with Career Services and Engineering by: • Visiting professor opportunities • Establish student scholarships, grants, and fellowships • Site visits to Aera • Participate in current research projects • Present opportunities for internships and fulltime employment

  6. Recruiting Information • Amazon is growing by 40% • Putting up 5 approximately 5 buildings a year • Rob Sew is the Liaison for Penn State • Hosted a site visit in Allentown for students • Can’t recruit after 10/31 • Need to utilize Fall Career Days
