  1. Urano Ricerca sul settimo pianeta del sistema solare.

  2. Urano dista 2896,6 milioni di km dal Sole ed è il settimo pianeta cioè il terzo gassoso. Impiega 84,01 anni per fare un giro intorno al sole e 11 h per girare su se stesso. Ha una velocità orbitale di 6,8 km/s. La temperatura media della faccia visibile dalla Terra è di –210°. Il nucleo solido è simile a Giove e Saturno. Lo strato più esterno è formato da idrogeno ed elio, infatti lì si trovano ammoniaca, metano e carbonio. I venti che spirano secondo i paralleli hanno una velocità di 600 km/h mentre quelli che spirano secondo i meridiani hanno una velocità di 360 km/h.

  3. Il pianeta fu scoperto nel XVIII secolo da William Herschel nella sera del 13 marzo 1781. È stato scoperto che Urano ha dei sistemi nuvolosi e una nebbia di metano negli strati più alti dell’ atmosfera. Vennero scoperte inoltre altre 9 lune.

  4. Le sonde che sono state spedite su Urano sono: il Voyager 2 che arrivò a destinazione nel gennaio 1986 ma rimase solo poche ore perché la traiettoria da seguire la fece andare su Nettuno ultima tappa del percorso. Urano, come tutti i pianeti gassosi, ha degli anelli formati da particelle di dimensioni variabili e sono molto scuri.
