Cut the turf to fit your lawn Nowthattheturfhasbeenplacedinthedesiredlocation,it'stimetomakethe necessarycuts.Razorknivesandcarpetcuttersarethebestcuttingtools.All cutsshouldbeperformedfromthebackofthesyntheticgrasssoyoucansee thestitchrows.Leave1/4"-1/2" ofturfovertheedgeofyourborderwhen cutting; thiswillaidinthefinishingtouchesattheendofyourjob.Ifyou're workingwithmanypiecesofsyntheticgrass,nowisthetimetouseseamtape andturfgluetobindtheseams.Whenseamingyourturf,makesurethe bladesarelayinginthesamedirectionandthatthespacingbetweeneach stitchrowmatchesforthegreatestvisualappearance.Placetheredlineofthe seamtapeatthecentreoftheseam,anduseyourgluetomakean "S" pattern ontheseamtape.Positiontheturfinplaceandwait15minutesforthe adhesivetodry.Theseamwillvanishonceitissmoothedup.Toensurethat yourinfillbagsareincontactwiththeseamtape,placethemequallyonthe seam.
