  1. An Old Chinese Saying Don’t click! Turn on the sound!

  2. An elderly Chinese lady had two large vessels. They each hung at the end of the yoke she carried across her neck.

  3. One of the vessels had a crack. The other was perfect, ever delivering a full measure of water.

  4. After a long walk from the stream to the house, the leaking vessel was only half full.

  5. For two years, every day, the lady returned home with no more than a vessel and a half of water.

  6. Naturally, the perfect vessel was quite proud of her accomplishment.

  7. But the poor leaking vessel was ashamed… It was unhappy that it was able to do but half of that which it was designed for doing

  8. After 2 years of what seemed a bitter time, one day it spoke to the lady at the stream.

  9. “I feel ashamed that the crack in my side is making the water leak out all the way back to your house.”

  10. The old lady smiled! “Did you notice that there are flowers along your side of the yoke, but none on the other side?”

  11. “That’s because I always knew about your leaking. Thus, I’ve been planting seeds along your side of the path, and every day as we return you’ve been watering those flowers.”

  12. “For two years I’ve been able to pick those beautiful flowers and to decorate my table.”

  13. If you were not exactly the way you are, those beauties wouldn’t be here to beautify our home.”

  14. We all have each our own flaws…

  15. But it is the cracks and the flaws that each of us is endowed with – that makes our lives together so valuable.

  16. You should accept each and every one as he is - while ever seeking to see the good in him…
