  1. The MBBS in Kyrgyzstan Journey of a Foreign Medical Student It would rather be a formality to say that Kyrgyzstan is one of the best-emerging destinations, especially for Indian medical aspirants who seek to study MBBS abroad. Everyone is aware of this fact BUT what people don’t have a clear idea about is the various factors pertaining to this prospect. After going through it, students will have a basic understanding of some of the most vital details to keep in mind during the admission process as well as after completion of the degree. They shall also be clear about the budgetary requirements of a Kyrgyzstan medical college. Visa Requirements This is one of the most initial as well as most important steps for anyone who seeks to pursue an MBBS in Kyrgyzstan. Getting a visa is half the battle won in one’s journey to study medicine in Kyrgyzstan. Thus, it’s important to know about the various details pertaining to it. ● The only documents that one needs to submit for a Kyrgyzstan student visa include a passport, passport-size photos, as well as Marksheets for 10+2, and the NEET scorecard. ● Students can also apply for an electronic visa online (e-visa), which holds as much validity as an original visa. ● Even if that’s an issue, students can also opt for a Visa-on-Arrival.

  2. The process is mostly online, with rare instances where the student has to show up physically. Fee Details This is one of the major reasons why many Indian medical aspirants prefer to enroll in a Kyrgyzstan medical college. First and foremost, the students need not worry about any additional charges like donations and/or capitation fees over and above what the actual fees are. As far as the fee amounts are concerned, on average, students need to pay a total of INR 19-20 Lakh for the entire program. This includes all the various heads like the tuition fee, accommodation fee, and all the other miscellaneous charges. NEXT Medical Exam After completing the degree from a Kyrgyzstan medical college, Indian medical aspirants prefer to study further and practice in India. For this, they need to appear for the National Exit Test (NEXT). In fact, even the NMC Gazette mandates medical graduates from foreign universities to appear for the NEXT Medical Exam in order to be eligible to practice in India. This is a fairly long BUT easy exam, which tests the students on their theoretical and practical concepts. Students are tested on a variety of clinical as well as pre and para-clinical disciplines over 3 days, having a total of six 2.5-hour sessions. There are two separate papers with one of them (NEXT Paper-II) being a completely “practical-based exam”. Starting from the year 2023, this will replace the NEET-UG and the FMGE exams of India. Keeping the above factors in mind will make sure that students have a smoother and more hassle-free experience throughout their study MBBS abroad. Right from the application/admission stage to the post-degree opportunities, Kyrgyzstan and its educational structure have got it all covered.
