  3. What has changed at the Flight Procedures Office • So what has changed ? • When did this take place? • Will you notice any change in the great service you receive? • What does this mean?

  4. What has changed ? • We are under new management Used to be under AVN in OKC Now under Operation Support Group (Air Traffic) Flight Procedures Office , Flight Check and Procedure Development now have 3 separate bosses.

  5. When did this take place ? October 1, 2010

  6. Will you notice a change? Hopefully not , but our priorities have changed slightly. Being part of Air Traffic we will be focused on their priorities first. We will continue to provide all Airports the same great service

  7. What does this mean ? This should be seamless. Its been 4 months and you probably havent noticed a change and probably never will. Some Air Traffic projects will get priority

  8. 20 to 1 Visual Surface Flight Standards revokes 3 year moritorium First approved in 1999 Revoked Sept 12, 2010

  9. What is this 20 to 1 surface 20 to 1 surface is your night visual surface. If 20 to 1 is penetrated then you cannot have Night Minimums unless…. Size of trap is dependant on what Category of minimums the airport has.

  10. How Do We Mitigate These 20 to 1 Obstructions 20 to 1 obstructions can be mitigated three ways: Remove Light VGSI - VASI or PAPI

  11. SURVEYS Two types of surveys VG – Verticall Guided NVG – Non Vertically Guided How to get your airport a survey Clear GQS surface 3200 x 60 runway Federally obligated

  12. OBSTACLE EVALUATIONS Under the new Alignment OE Evaluations done by Development branch. Airports need to be watchful of proposed obstructions being built near airport. FPO no longer involved in process .
