TekBand LED Thomas Gilbert Cameron Proctor Ramsey Khudairi Chad Young I/O PIC 18LF26K22 Microcontroller SanDisk 4GB MicroSD Card UART KC-21 Bluetooth Module SPI Team Salthouse SDP 2011 Powerstream PGEB021235 Battery Overview Final Prototype Cell PC • The TekBand is a small, Bluetooth enabled, silicone wristband that performs two major functions: • alerts the wearer of an incoming call • provides 4GB of wireless storage. • By alerting the wearer of an incoming phone call, the dangers and inconvenience of losing one’s phone, missing a call, or checking one’s phone while driving are eliminated. Furthermore, the inconvenience of losing a flashdrive is erased by moving the device to one’s wrist and working wirelessly. The TekBand greatly increases the convenience of using these two devices by moving all functionality to the wearer’s wrist, revolutionizing the way people use cell phones and USB flashdrives.
