  3. Reduction of Water Usage • Partnered with SAWS to retrofit restroom toilets with high efficiency (low-flow) fixtures • Automatic shut-off faucets • Sensored urinals • Shower heads

  4. Reduction of Water Usage • Replacement of signature sign at entrance to park without a fountain • Reduction of pools • Reduction of irrigation heads and irrigation run-time

  5. Water Reuse • Exhibit saltwater • Complex filtration and backwash system to flocculate out solids to recover saltwater back to system • Freshwater • Water park systems are reused in Ski Lake system water • Park fountains employ the use of condensate water • Recovery of splash out water

Water Recycling • Flamingo exhibit • Water is filtered and treated, then returned to system • Saltwater systems • Addition of sludge pumps into backwash basins to optimize amount of saltwater available for reuse • Recovery of splash out water • Reverse osmosis of saltwater • Reuse salt-free water into cooling tower system

  7. Water Recycling • Ice plant blow down water • Reject “hard” water extracted from production and recovered to holding tank • Water pumped to cooling tower system • Reduction of make-up water to cooling tower • Reduction of sanitary sewer • Reduction of energy consumption at cooling tower
