  2. Recreation Three courts. The beaches and natural coves that surround the property are optimum for sun-bathing, swimming or snorkelling. Rent a bike or moped near the main building to explore the island. The Cambridge Beaches marina offers any type of water equipment or boat for rent including motor and sail boats, kayaks, windsurfers, snorkel gear and fishing equipment. Cambridge Beaches is able to make reservations at every golf course on the island, public or private. The championship Port Royal is only 10 minutes away

  3. Historic Sites Scaur Hill Fort Park (Sandys Parish): Fort Scaur and Fort St. Catherine were part of a ring of fortifications that surrounded Bermuda. Built by the British navy, the fort was supposed to protect the Royal Naval Dockyard from an attack that never materialized. During World War II, U.S. Marines were billeted nearby. Overlooking Great Sound, the fort offers views of some of the island's most dramatic scenery.

  4. Cultural Bermuda Marathon Weekend (January 16 - 18,  2015)  Formerly known as the Bermuda International Race Weekend, runners from all over the world along with locals participate in the Bermuda Marathon Weekend. 

  5. Shopping April to October, complementary ferry to Hamilton for shopping and sightseeing that leaves right from Cambridge Beaches' dock (30-minutes). In the shoulder months, just a ten minute walk to the public ferry in Somerset.

  6. Entertainment The earlier Bermuda Maritime Museum located at the dockyard in Sandys, has been expanded, exhibits and programs enhanced making it the National Museum of Bermuda. The original museum was established in 1974 and officially opened in 1975. It was housed in the 10-acre area of the fort Keep. In 2009 December the Bermuda government decided to transfer the Casemates Barracks additional buildings and fortifications to the existing Maritime Museum giving it a national stature and covering an expanded area of 15 acres of land.

  7. RestaurantFood With reservations that include the MAP meal plans - guests can also take advantage of the Dine-Around Program. As a member of The Bermuda Collection, our MAP paying guests may 'Dine-Around' at any of the other member properties that include The Reefs and The Pompano Beach Club. The programme offers exchange dining with one property per evening on a given night, of which a certain number of reservations are given on a first come, first serve basis. The only cost is transportation by taxi to and from Cambridge Beaches.
